  • Demographic information, such as your market area (e.g., Greater Portland Area), your gender, household income range, postal code, race, marital status. We may infer your general geographic location from information about your network connection or internet service provider.
  • Financial and Payment information, such as your information you share to apply for credit, bank account information, billing and payment history, credit card information, and other financial information.
  • Professional or employment-related information and education data, such as your employer and title, your qualifications, and the training you’ve completed, if you apply for a job with us.
  • Commercial information, including information about your prior purchases with us. When you make a purchase or return, we collect information about the transaction. This may include product details, purchase price, warranty information, date and location of the transaction. It may also include account notes about the transaction.
  • Content, such as product or service reviews you’ve provided.
  • Communications, such as when you send us email or engage with us on social media platforms.
  • Video, images, and recordings, such as those we capture in and around our stores using cameras or video recording devices in the ordinary course of our business or photos you choose to share with us on social media platforms. We use these videos and images for security, fraud, loss prevention, law enforcement or incident reporting, or other operational purposes, such as analyzing foot traffic patterns.
  • Personal preferences or interests, such as the products that interest you most or other insights you share or we learn during your visit.
  • Precise Geolocation Information. If you choose to enable certain location services on your device, your browser, or your app, we may collect more precise geolocation information that enables us to personalize your experience by providing location-based products, services, offers, or advertisements.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity and your interactions, such as information we automatically collect about your browser, device, or connection when you use our digital services, like our websites or apps. We use analytics tools, such as cookies and similar technologies, which collect information about you using a unique identifier, such as a cookie id. This personal information includes:
  • the date and time of your visit,

The following types of information we collect are considered ‘sensitive’ under certain applicable privacy laws. This includes the following types of data, such as:

  • Information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership.

Les Schwab may process de-identified personal information. Data in this state cannot be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to, a particular individual. We will maintain such information in a de-identified state and will not try to re-identify the individual.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a request does not require you to create an account with us.

We endeavor to respond to requests within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. The response we provide will explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily usable.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
